Dr. Melissa Jackson-Westbrook
Dr. Jackson is a licensed clinical psychologist in
North Carolina. Dr. Jackson particularly enjoys working with adolescent and adult populations but has experience with all ages. She also has extensive training in various forensic and psychological
assessments.
Dr. Jackson has worked with children
and adolescents with behavioral disorders, such as ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Dr. Jackson particularly enjoys psychological testing, treating mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse,
personality disorders, grief and loss, and those with difficulties with anger.
Dr. Jackson practices utilizing mostly
cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques but believes in an integrative approach; that treatment must be tailored to each client's needs. She is also a firm believer that motivation is the key to
success within the therapeutic process, and works to maintain a high level of motivation within the client.
Dr. Jackson is accpeting new testing
patients in our Raleigh office.
